There is a memorial service to mark the ending of
operation Banner in Northern Ireland to be held in St. Pauls Cathedral
London "this is to honour members of the UK armed forces and MOD Civil
Service who lost their lives or were injured in Northern Ireland and
the over 300,000 personell who served in the Province since 1969".
